Top technola Posts for 2008

For those of you who are catching up on your blog reading during the holiday lull, I've put together two lists of technola's top posts in order to make your job easier. The first list is simply the most popular posts based on the number of page views.

  1. Podcasting 101
  2. Free Friday: Web-Based Project Management
  3. Free Friday: Census Data and LEP Seminar
  4. Dangerous Websites
  5. Free Friday: Mind/Concept Mapping Software
  6. Firefox, Gimme My Memory Back!
  7. Blog Action Day 2008: Share Your Thoughts
  8. Online Tool to Help Simplify the Stimulus
  9. Opportunities to Provide Legal Help to Veterans
  10. Arkansas Does It Again

The second list is a bit more nuanced. After reading Beth Kanter's post, I used PostRank to measure how much readers engaged with each technola post (left comments, clicked on links, bookmarked post on del.icio.us, and so on). Then I identified the top posts.

  3. Simplify Collaboration - Use a Wiki
  4. NPR Launches New API
  5. Technology, Plain English, and Whiteboards
  6. Opportunities to Provide Legal Help to Veterans
  7. Who is Hosting This?
  8. 2008 EJC Materials Now Available Online
  9. The Hippest Law Librarian on the Block
  10. Commissioners Close Self-Help Center in San Antonio

Robin - I can't take credit. The initial idea came from Liz Henry at the BlogHer conference, and I was prompted to put it into place by the many other year-end lists. Look for more round ups more frequently as the year goes on. - K
